The
Senior Business Architect position
requires the ability to develop, communicate, maintain, and enforce the
overall eBusiness vision and architecture. This position has the primary
responsibility to focus on the overall enterprise, business process design,
organizational change, and facilities. In addition the business architect
must communicate, provide education about the methodology, lead the process
design and work products and help resolve difficult questions and issues.
Skill requirements for this position include: Mandatory •Has a detailed knowledge of business architecture methodology and techniques •Is thoroughly familiar with business strategies, best practices and with the business forces acting on the enterprise •Knows how to analyze, design, and ultimately improve and/or replace the business processes •Able to establish performance measurement benchmarks and targets •Able to communicate the objectives, processes, events, and results of process improvement •Coordinates the activities of the business experts and works closely with them during the eVision and eStrategy Phase to identify business issues, best practices, and performance vis-a-vis competitors •Understands the disciplines of organizational change and defining the roles, jobs, work relationships, organizational structures, and reward systems •Able to conduct workshops and guide the workshop participants toward consensus •Understands the capabilities of eBusiness and it’s impacts to the business Desirable •Understands the general concepts of facilities design and development •Has an understanding of project management •Understands the general capabilities of information technology and applications •Has an understanding of technical architecture |
