The
eBusiness Programme Manager position
requires the skills needed for defining, coordinating and integrating
multiple projects that comprise a large and complex set of projects. This
position has a primary responsibility to work closely with senior management,
various boards and steering committees, business function managers, individual
project managers, and the business organization to achieve the intended
business results. In addition, the programme manager acts on behalf of
senior management to provide executive-level direction to the projects
and operates the measurement mechanisms required to oversee the programme.
Skill requirements for this position include: Mandatory •In depth knowledge of project and program management methodology and techniques •Defines the overall project management standards, processes, procedures, templates and tool sets •Understands the process of identifying, defining and planning a set of integrated projects •Establish and maintain a formal process for communicating performance, progress, issues, benefits and cost to executive-level sponsors •Understands and can analyze business forces operating on the enterprise •Responsible for all aspects of development coordination and integration •Understands how to define, plan and develop budgets for individual project •Extensive knowledge of how to manage risk, quality assurance, change, problems/issues and deployment Desirable •Has an understanding of technical architecture •Has experience in negotiating contracts with vendors •Has an understanding of basic business process improvement |
