The
eBusiness Project Manager position
requires skills that are needed to define, plan, manage and deliver one
or more projects. This position has primary responsibility for managing
a project on a day-to-day basis, keeping focus on the project objectives,
maintain focus on individuals and team assignments, motivate team members
to complete tasks on time and budget, and ensure the quality of work products.
In addition, the project manager must be able to anticipate/manage changes
that inevitably occur during the conduct of a project and assure that
the change management and issue management procedures are followed. Skill
requirements for this position include:
Mandatory
In-depth knowledge of project management methodology and techniques
Understands
how to plan the project, allocates and directs staff or other resources
to accomplish project tasks, and maintains project control
Establish and maintain a formal process for communicating regularly
with the executive sponsor
Responsible for reviewing and approving key milestone work products
and subjugating other approvals as needed
